Climate change is a hot topic between world leaders at the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21) in France.
Participating countries are trying to find a solution to prevent global warming from raising global temperatures by 2°C.
According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, if the world’s temperature rises by 2°C, the world could see an increase in natural disasters, which would have serious consequences on some sectors, especially agriculture.
The agricultural sector has already started feeling the impact of climate change. This will also have complications for the 50% more food the world needs to produce to feed 9 billion people by 2050.
The conference hopes to see 50 000 participants, including 25 000 official delegates from government, intergovernmental organisations, UN agencies and NGOs.
Discussions will wrap up on Friday, 11 December.
