Many people think that by just looking at crop figures, you would be able to make that prediction, but theory and practicality are two different things. The important factor to keep in mind is this: sellers want the highest and buyers the lowest price!
A cheaper alternative might be attractive to a consumer, but they are concerned about the end results such as taste, texture, smell, etc.
But with the current weather conditions in SA, consumers might be forced to make change suppliers and run the risk of not getting the same quality.
