According to Marietjie Jacobs, manager of the KLK petrol stations and Express convenience stores, they are satisfied with the turnover. They advertise on social media and will soon distribute flyers in town.

The wonderful coffee at the KLK Express is currently the buzzword in town – there are already regular customers who come and get their cup every morning. Imported coffee beans from Dallmayr Café & Bar are used. Customers can choose from a variety of drinks, including cappuccino, Americano, latte macchiato and filter coffee, but Marietjie highly recommends the creamy hot chocolate. Another lip-licking drawcard at the convenience store is of course the homemade oxtail and mutton pies.

Residents and travellers through the town can also get other convenient products here. The whole concept of the convenience store was developed and implemented by the architectural firm of De Kock and partners. Where possible, all the other work was done by local contractors. Marietjie thanked everybody involved for their input.

KLK Express has nine friendly staff members who are on hand daily from 06:00 to 19:00 to serve customers.
